The second online website that all the 3 of us had found relevant and useful is

Higglytown Heroes

Description:

Surely all the children have heard of Disney before!

This website is an online channel of pure Disney fun - colouring pages for children, music from various Disney shows to satisfy your craving for Disney theme songs, and of course, games based on different Disney stories and characters to promote educational fun!

The website's cheerful colours, animated features, coupled with a joyful music are sure to brighten up your day!

This website is for catered to all ages, as long as you are an avid Disney fan!

What's currently hot on the website is the newly featured game:
'Higglytown Hero Hop and Pop'
!

Click on http://atv.disney.go.com/playhouse/higglytown/games/hopandpop.html
to head down to some hop-popping fun!

This game requires you to hop and pop the bubbles containing the tools which match the occupations of the different characters.

There are other activities which children can enjoy after the game such as "Creating your own Hero" where a child can personalize his own character, or read a story from the Higglytown Heroes cartoon!

Our reviews:

Ratings: 7.5/10

Recommended age group: 4 to 5 years

Navigations: Only the use of mouse is needed. The animated buttons speak when hovered upon, so children can navigate around the website easily even though they may not be able to read. The buttons also come with pictures of the different cartoons so that children can recognise the cartoons they love best. Buttons in the games uses single words so they are not too difficult for the children to understand.

Engagement level: The site is visually pleasing to the eye with the brillant colours. The animations follow children's favourite cartoons so that children can relate to them easily. Its repetitive light-hearted tunes would surely capture a child's attention.

Activity: The instructions are clear and precise so that young children would be able to understand. There is also a demonstration of how the game is played so the child can follow through the game easily. The website contains interactive games of different cartoons that the children can relate to. After the game, the child can have even more fun with its follow-up activities.

During this game, the child can learn matching and learn that different occupations requires different tools and objects, thus widening a child's knowledge of occupations.

Again, this website contains a search engine for you to find your favourite Disney cartoon!
